About Me

I am a musician, project manager & writer.

I work online from northern Spain where I live with my boyfriend and our sausage dog Walty.

I am currently working as a freelance project manager for Wigmore Hall Learning on a number of online music projects and training programmes.

I am in the process of writing my first novel with Faber Academy.

I studied the cello at the Royal Academy of Music, London. During this time, I performed as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall, St John’s Smith Square, and St Martin-in-the-Fields, and received numerous scholarships and prizes.

After graduating in 2012, I completed the Trainee Music Leader scheme at Wigmore Hall before becoming a full-time project manager. I worked for a number of renowned organisations and charities, including Wigmore Hall and the Irene Taylor Trust, creating, developing, and delivering pioneering community music projects. I managed projects for people of all ages and lived experiences in concert halls, schools, hospitals, community spaces, prisons, and care homes nationally and internationally. To further support this work, I obtained a certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling at Regent's University, London.

A particular focus in my career has been working alongside people living with dementia and their families, friends, and carers. I have worked as a musician and project manager in community and care settings, as well as in family homes as a professional live-in carer. More recently, I have been working on a creative online project for people living with rare forms of dementia.

My approach is informed by my extensive background and foreground in creativity combined with the study and practice of integrated and holistic methodologies.

In 2019, I was appointed as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) for my significant contributions to the sector.
